AC/DC

est un groupe de rock australo-britannique   formé à Sydney en 1973 par les frères Angus et Malcolm Young. Bien que le groupe soit classé dans le hard rockmetal, les membres ont toujours qualifié leur musique de "rock 'n' roll".

AC/DC a subi beaucoup de changements de membres avant de sortir son second album, T.N.T., en 1975. La composition du groupe est ensuite restée stable jusqu'à ce que Mark Evans soit remplacé par Cliff Williams en 1977. En 1979, le groupe eût un succès mondial avec son album Highway to Hell. Le chanteur et co-parolier Bon Scott meurt le 19 février 1980, après une nuit de forte consommation d'alcool. Le groupe envisagea alors la dissolution mais l'ancien chanteur de Geordie, Brian Johnson fut choisi comme remplaçant de Bon Scott. La même année, le groupe sort Back in Black. Cet album sera le plus grand succès d'AC/DC et est même aujourd'hui le second album le plus vendu au monde. Dinosaure du rock, ce groupe a bercé mon enfance et celle de beaucoup de métalleux d'aujourd'hui, je me devais donc de les faire figurer dans ce blog.
